| NEW RELEASE |
| |
| In March, INHOUSEPRESS
released an eBook editions of Biblical Symbolism:
Application (free download) and Dictionary
by Stanislaw Kapuscinski |
| |
|
About the book:
For more than 2000 years, over 3300 Hebrew
and/or Greek words in the Bible remained untranslated. By providing
the translation and often the symbolic meaning of the "missing"
words, the author gives you the opportunity to finally understand
the real meaning of the teaching of Moses, the Prophets, Jesus
and the Evangelists.
After extensive study of countless scholarly
volumes, the inspired writings of Emmet Fox, Stanislaw Kapuscinski
created a Method for the Application of the Dictionary
of Biblical Symbolism. His system enables us to
discover the original meaning which Moses, the Prophets and the
Evangelists, probably intended for us to hear. The Foreword and
the Introduction tell us why. The Method of Application shows
us how.

| AN ESSAY BY STANISLAW
KAPUSCINSKI |
| |
| Today we invite
you to read The Many and the One, essay #25, (©Nov.12,
1997) from Beyond Religion I |
| |
| The needs of the many outweigh
the needs of the one, said Mr. Spok, the taciturn science officer
on the starship Enterprise. I wager that today, the needs of
the many are far more sated by the innumerable variations on
the Star Trek saga, then by our cultural heritage. Whatever our
tastes or hunger, the sci-fi gender with a sprinkling of murder,
sex and general mayhem seems to gratify our inner needs. We,
on average, sleep eight hours, work and travel about ten, and
for two hours we eat, drink and sip coffee. The rest of the time
we watch television. Sci-fi, murder, sex and general mayhem.
A daily conditioning. Brainwashing. We volunteer for our daily
doze. Most of us, anyway. |
|
And what of the arts? What of
the heritage we're so proud of?
Where are the muses who led man on his search for the exquisite?
Can Mnemosyne no longer bear any more daughters? Are Calliope,
Euterpe, Erato and their noble sisters no longer guiding man
in his search for beauty? Has even Apollo lost interest in his
inspiring charges?
The gods are dead! Says our Star Trek: we have outgrown them... |

Happach's sculptures. |
| In today Newsletter
enjoy: |
|
Bench of Memories and Dreams
I sat on a bench of memories and longing
Have I lost my way and stumbled into heaven?
Are my eyes filled with youthful enchantment?
Or am I merely rapt in meandering deception
I feel behind me his knees pressing gently
How sweet is his touch, supporting me-as ever,
His arm holds me firmly-as always protective
of some gathering clouds on life's moot horizon
But above all else, I am more than ever
convinced that I'm floating on filigree of fairies
And now I'll share with you an ambrosial truth:
I draw my enchantment from the fountain of youth.
